feedback on Angie’s List.January 23, 2014Removed a large bee hive from our roofMember Comments:Could not have been better. The techician, Andre, arrived on time & explained what he would do & asked if we wanted him to proceed. He then proceeded to find, remove & treat the area where the bees had built their hive. Following the removal he met with us to explain exactly what had been done, & what would happen over the next several days. He was outstanding. If Willie the Bee Man has others like Andre as part of his company, it is no wonder that the company is so highly rated. Angie we thank you for being the source for us of Willie the Bee Man as part of your comprehensive service. Very glad we are members.Hire Again:Yes Approximate Cost:$550.00

June 27, 2013Remove bee hive from wall of my houseTwo very professional and pleasant young men checked out the problem and then removed the hive, covered up the space, took the bees away, vacuumed the remaining bees and told me what I needed to do. I am very happy with their work and recommend them. I would be willing to speak to anyone thinking of hiring Willie’s service.Approximate Cost: $395.00
I highly recommend this company. I'm the facility supervisor at a private school in Miami and a swarm of bees established a hive in one of our buildings. I called Willie The Bee Man and the next day they were here. They found the honey comb right away and destroyed the bees and cleaned up their mess. The exterminators were very polite, friendly, and answered all my questions. Plus they take credit cards.
To bee or not to bee? That was the question. You see, a buzzing phalanx of industrious, sting-ey little bees moved into a nook in the roof of my house. My pregnant wife, in full-on nesting mode, was alarmed. The bees had to go.
I consulted the Oracle of Yelp where I was directed to contact Willie the Bee Man. I made the call and spoke with none other than the Bee Man’s daughter. Local and family-owned. Cool.
It’s strange to say, but the morning I spent with Aimee and Rafael, the bee people, was fascinating, educational, and hugely entertaining. They kept me informed about every phase of the project, pausing often to educate me about bee behavior and some of the science behind the hive that we were decimating.
I even got to don a nifty bee-keeper hat (smelled like honey) and hang out near the work.
When the big slabs of honeycomb, dripping with fresh local honey started coming out of my house, I was a wide-eyed kid seeing a new wonder of the world for the first time. The precise geometry of the combs, the wonderfulness of the delicate honey, and the coordination of the hive were astonishing to see up close. It was a darn shame to destroy such beauty, and I could tell that Willie the Bee Man feels the same way.
The service from Willie the Bee Man was fantastic. The usual stuff you hope for from a service company was all there. Smooth scheduling, straightforward communication, honesty, fair pricing, and top-notch work performed by true professionals.
Bottom line, Willie the Bee Man did a great job. They took care of the hive beautifully with minimal damage to my house. The pricing was more than fair. They were a joy to work with, and I walked away from the experience excited and more educated about honey bees. Highly recommended.
Nothing but great things to say about Willie The Bee Man! Their prices were very reasonable, the services effective, and the guarantee rock solid! They even took my camera into the midst of the swarm to take close up pictures for my daughter! It was great doing business with them!
I hope you don’t ever need this service, but if you do…spend the money and get it done right the first time.Imagine you have a colony of ground hornets– mean, aggressive little creatures who sting en masse- and could cause serious harm to a small child or small animal, or anyone allergic. Imagine you call a dozen pest control companies who all offer to come and spray for the hornets, but when you inquire they tell you that is all you need– cause that will kill them.
We ALL know that hornets, bees, wasps build significant hives- in structures or as is in this case, in the ground. If you don’t get the hive- the hornets will hatch new babies and create a new queen and a new hive….YOU HAVE TO GET THE HIVE OUT!
Call Willie the Bee Man- they are great- do it right the first time, friendly and wonderful to work with and even come when they say they will come.
March 01, 2012Removal of bee hive from chimneyThey were great, two men arrived with all the equipment they needed to access the top of my chimney. They removed the hive and showed it to me. Bees have not been backApproximate Cost: $500.00
I was really impressed with the bee and honeycomb removal service. They were super friendly and clearly knew everything about bees. And it was more affordable than I expected (based on talking to other people who’ve had hives removed). I hope bees never move into my house again, but if they ever do, Willie the Bee Man Inc will get my business!

November 02, 2013I used Willie the Bee Man.Removed over 120 lbs of angry bees from my upstairs ceiling. I had no idea they were they. Services saved my lifeHire Again: Yes Approximate Cost: $450.00
They explained what they were going to have to do. They kept me informed as they were investigating the situation. They proceeded with what had to be done. They explained what happens next (some bees are visible for a few days afterwards). And they did the above politely and efficiently.
They gave excellent service. I contacted them on Wednesday morning at 815AM and they were at my home by 10AM, on time. The manager on the phone was detailed, professional and courteous. 2 technicians arrived at my home, on time. They were polite, professional, and knowledgeable, and spoke English to me. They took a look at the problem, gave me an estimate, I accepted, and they went to work. They thoughtfully minimized the damage to the soffit area, and removed a large honey bee hive from inside the soffit. They carefully cleaned up everything involved with the process, and left my home in as good or better shape than it was when they arrived. 90 minutes after arrival they were done and gone. The price was reasonable and even less than I had expected. I am a “tough grader” but, cannot think of any way they could have improved their performance. I would use them again and highly recommend them.
We had bees in two of the rooms in our house so we thought we had a colony in our attic. We called a few pest control companies and apparently not everyone does bees. It is a specialty. So we called Willie the Bee Man. He explained to us over the phone that it could be some bees that got lost and advised us to wait for a couple of days. He was right, they didn’t return, and he saved us money not coming to our house to do an inspection and charging for it.
Thank You and so far you did a wonderful job. Hopefully they do stay away. Pleasure doing business with you. The Gentleman who was here is a credit to your company and totally professional.
